A session is one recording: transcript, overlay chat, mode, and metadata. Non-incognito sessions live in SQLite on this machine (data/raven.db under the app user-data folder). Nothing syncs to a Raven cloud.

After you stop, the dashboard shows:

  • Duration
  • Active mode
  • Timestamp

Insights are not a hosted Pro feature. They call the same providers you configured in Settings. The header also has an Export menu (Markdown or PDF, optional transcript) - see Post-call recap.

Dashboard search matches titles, summaries, and transcript text.

Auto-save

During a recording, Raven writes the session about every 60 seconds. After a crash, an in-progress session can reopen as Recovered Session.

Incognito

Toggle the hat-and-glasses control on the pill before you start. Incognito sessions are not written to SQLite and disappear when you stop.

Packaged app folder is Raven. npm run dev uses project-raven.
