Every recording in Raven is a session. Sessions capture your transcript, AI responses, and metadata - and they’re automatically saved so you can review them later.

Session History

After a recording ends, the session appears in your dashboard with:
  • An AI-generated title based on the conversation content
  • The duration of the recording
  • The mode that was active
  • A timestamp of when it happened
Click any session to see its full details.

Session Detail View

Each session has several tabs:

Copying Content

Each tab has copy-to-clipboard options:
  • Summary: Copy the full summary as markdown
  • Transcript: Choose “My transcript”, “Their transcript”, or “Full transcript”
  • Chat: Copy individual AI responses
  • Insights: Copy individual sections or all insights at once
The dashboard header has a search bar that lets you find past sessions by keyword. Search matches against session titles, summaries, and transcript text. Results appear as a list of matching sessions you can click into.

Auto-Save

Sessions auto-save every 60 seconds during recording. If Raven crashes or your computer shuts down unexpectedly, you won’t lose more than a minute of data. On next launch, any interrupted session is recovered and marked as “Recovered Session.”

Incognito Mode

Toggle incognito on the overlay pill (hat-and-glasses icon) before starting a recording. Incognito sessions:
  • Are not saved to your session history
  • Are not synced to the cloud (Pro)
  • Disappear completely when the recording ends
Use this for sensitive conversations you don’t want persisted.

Post-Meeting Insights (Pro)

Raven Pro users with a paid subscription can generate post-meeting insights on completed sessions. Open a session and click the Insights tab, then Generate Insights. The analysis includes:

Cloud Sync (Pro)

In Raven Pro, sessions automatically sync to the cloud:
  • Your session history is available on any device you sign into
  • AI chat messages within sessions are preserved across devices
  • Syncing happens automatically after each session ends and periodically in the background
  • If there’s a conflict (same session edited on two devices), the most recent edit wins
In the open-source version, all sessions are stored locally on your machine.
